VOLUNTEER IN PROJECT COORDINATION GERMANY

MARA FRANKE

Mara Franke has been volunteering in project coordination for Ärzte für Madagaskar since 2021. She grew up in North Rhine-Westphalia and moved to Berlin after graduating from high school to study medicine. Through study and research stays in Italy, Togo and Ghana, she learned about the differences and challenges in medical care in different countries. Since 2019, Mara has therefore been involved in the field of development cooperation and healthcare, on the one hand as chairperson of the board of the association "Woé zon loo e.V.", and on the other hand in project work with Ärzte für Madagaskar.
Mara likes to spend her free time travelling, doing martial arts or going to the theatre.
