Julius Emmrich has been the chairman of Ärzte für Madagaskar since 2011. He works as an assistant neurologist and as a researcher in neurology at the Charité hospital in Berlin.
Nadine Muller is a trustee of Ärzte für Madagaskar and president of the sister charity in Luxemburg, Médecins pour Madagascar. In both charities, she is active in the areas of infectious diseases and fundraising.
Lotti Krings is a trustee of our sister charity in Luxemburg, Médecins pour Madagascar, and is involved mostly in fundraising and communications.
Lukas Beigel is part of Ärzte für Madagaskar Team in Berlin. He is working on enhancing visibility and transparency of the projects through new ways of knowledge sharing and cost data analysis.
Katharina Knauthe joined Ärzte für Madagaskar at the beginning of 2022 and works in the area of project coordination and communication.
Birgitta Fink has been working for Ärzte für Madagaskar as its treasurer since its foundation. She is a business economist.
Midwife Larissa works as part of the medical staff on the ambulance and in addition takes part in sensitisation campaigns informing the population on how to have a safe and healthy pregnancy/delivery.
Micheline joined Doctors for Madagascar as a graduate from the midwifery school in Fort Dauphin. She has also earned her degree in obstetric ultrasound in 2018 and has been running the mobile ultrasound clinics in the communal health centres around Manambaro ever since.
Dr Rinja joined Doctors for Madagascar in February 2017. This young physician is highly motivated to improve the health care system of his home country to serve his people.
